Rathaus Elberfeld is a beautiful historical building located in the city of Wuppertal, Germany. Built in the mid-19th century in Romanesque Revival style, it is known for its impressive facade and ornate roof sculptures. Inside, you can see murals, statues, and columns in the lobby and vestibules. The most interesting feature of this building is the Fresco Hall, where you can see ceiling paintings depicting the city’s past, including figures from Greek and Roman mythology. The Rathaus also offers an events hall and office for the mayor of Wuppertal. On the outside, you can admire its neo-Renaissance decorations, such as the octagonal turret with a clock and balustrades at the entrance. The Rathaus can be easily reached on foot from the nearby train station and is an ideal place to explore the city's history.
