📍 Germany
Rathaus Bernburg is a Baroque-era palace and town hall located in the heart of Bernburg (Saale), Germany. It was built between 1664 and 1668 and listed as a historical monument in 1971. It is an exceptional example of the Baroque-era architecture and the main attractions of the palace are its alabaster statues and the ceiling frescos. The ground floor of the building includes a gallery and a ceremonial hall. Its most striking feature will be the staircase in the central court, built with grey marble columns and splendid frescoes. Visitors can also explore the former court prison and the town library as a part of the tour. The palace serves as the venue for numerous art and cultural events.
