Rakotzbrücke, also known as the Devil’s Bridge, is a striking piece of 19th century stone architecture located in the town of Gablenz, Germany. It is actually a double bridge that forms a perfect circle when the reflection of its sides meet in the waters below. Exploring the grounds of the Rakotzbrücke is a great way to spend an afternoon. There are artfully crafted gardens and two ponds filled with swans and lily pads. The stone bridge is one of Gablenz’s most iconic attractions and can provide visitors with a great photo opportunity. The nearby Kromlau Park is worth a visit as well and complements the bridge with amazing views of the winding river and old trees.
