Quedas do Ruacaná is a set of breathtaking waterfalls in the rural area of Ruacana, Namibia. It can be accessed using the C38 gravel road along the Ruacana River. Here you will find several waterfalls, surrounded by immense abundance of wildlife. From wildebeest, zebra, Hartmann's mountain zebra, kudu and even some leopard sightings are possible. Here one can also spot small carnivores such as black-backed jackal, bat-eared fox and aardwolf. The amazing beauty of these falls is well worth the visit. Also be sure to bring a pair of binoculars as the views across the river are quite breathtaking.
