There are 10,000 acres of wetlands, bottomland hardwoods, and grasslands, along with over 12 miles of shoreline on the Quanicassee River and Saginaw Bay. Hiking trails offer views of the wetlands, while boat access is available from the Quanicassee River. Anglers will find bass, panfish, and more in the rivers and streams. The area also offers abundant wildlife viewing opportunities, with birds like Bald Eagles, Sandhill Cranes, and warblers seen regularly. Rare species like American Bitterns, Red-shouldered Hawks, and Eastern Meadowlarks have also been spotted in Quanicassee. Be sure to bring your binoculars and camera to capture the amazing wildlife and beautiful views.
