Puntal dels Llops is a fortified Iberian settlement on a hill above Olocau, on the southern edge of the Serra Calderona in Valencia province. Occupied from the fifth to the early second century BC, it formed part of the defensive network of Edeta, the Iberian city at present-day Llíria. Its compact layout remains legible in the excavated stonework: a defensive tower and perimeter wall enclose rooms arranged along a single central street. The commanding position explains the site’s role in watching over the surrounding territory. Views across the Camp de Túria plain give the ruins their wider context, while photographs along the central street reveal the tight arrangement of domestic spaces within this fortified outpost.
