📍 From Boat, Norway
Pulpit Rock, or Preikestolen in Norwegian, is an impressive 604 meter high sky-scraping mountain in Strand, Norway. It is one of Norway's most visited attractions and known to provide wonderful viewpoints of the Norwegian landscape. From the top, visitors can enjoy the beautiful Lysefjord with its crystal-clear blue water and steep mountainsides. The guided hike (which is approximately 3 hours) offers many spectacular photo opportunities and the chance to admire the breathtaking scenery of the area. The best part is that no technical skills or equipment are needed for the Pulpit Rock hike. The path is well-trodden, but there are few steep gradients so it is not recommended for people with poor fitness. Be sure to bring plenty of snacks and water for the hike, as there are no restaurants or convenience stores. Don't forget a camera since the view at the top is sure not to disappoint!
