📍 From Mirador del Pico, Spain
Puertu Vieyu means “Old Port” in Asturian, a name that reflects Cudillero’s long connection to the sea. In this fishing village on Spain’s northern coast, the harbour sits below a steep cluster of brightly painted houses and narrow streets. Seen from the waterfront, the façades rise in overlapping tiers above the boats and quays, making the village’s dramatic hillside setting as much a part of the scene as the port itself.
