The Puerta de Bisagra is a 15th century gate located in the city of Toledo in Spain. Built in 1426 by Alonso de Covarrubias, it has become an iconic landmark for the city, built on a geometric design with three arches. The gate is enhanced by five towers, the last one reaching 65 feet in height. It is adorned with images of the Virgin Mary and the local patron saint, San Ildefonso. Inside this magnificent gate, visitors can find a number of shops, cafes, and best of all, a spectacular view of the cityscape of Toledo. Alongside this, the Puerta de Bisagra is also known for its beautiful sunsets, offering its admirers an unforgettable experience of Toledo in twilight.
