Puente Nuevo de Ronda, the New Bridge of Ronda, is one of the most famous landmarks in Spain. Located in the beautiful, historic city of Ronda, this majestic and iconic bridge is a major tourist attraction. Constructed from 1751 to 1793, Puente Nuevo spans the deep gorge which divides the quaint old town and the newer part of Ronda. From the top of the bridge, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the medieval cityscape below. The Puente Nuevo also features a statue of King Phillip V who ordered the bridge to be built. This structure is the symbol of Ronda and a must-see for those visiting Andalusia.
