The Puente Inca Q'eswachaka is a unique and breathtaking Incan masterpiece found in Quehue, Peru. It is a hand-woven rope bridge hanging over the Apurímac River that has been regularly rebuilt by locals since pre-Incan times. You can take in the glorious view of the mountains, cascades and the rural town while crossing the bridge. As the bridge is made of dried vegetable fibers, visitors will add a stone each when they take a walk across it. Taking a stroll across the bridge is an unforgettable experience in Peru and the perfect place to get some amazing snapshots. Locals offer guided tours with great insight into the fascinating and ancient architecture of the Incan people. Be sure to bring your photo ID if you plan to cross the bridge.
