The Bridge of Stone and Cathedral of Zaragoza is located in Zaragoza, Spain. It has been a well-photographed tourist location since the 19th century, due to its unique combination of Gothic palatial architecture. The bridge itself is a Roman bridge, constructed in 109 AD, having itself been a vital part of the Camino de Santiago. This bridge, marked with 55 arches, connects the old city center with the city's northern districts. Within view of the bridge stands the grand Catedral de Zaragoza, built beginning in the 1300s, a vital part of Spanish Gothic architecture still standing today. The cathedral is placed in the heart of the city and is free for visitors to enter. From its rooftop terrace, visitors can enjoy beautiful views of the city and bridge itself. The bridge and cathedral, at the same time a beautiful combination of old history and modern infrastructure, is great for visitors interested in exploring the cultural and/or urban sites of Zaragoza.
