Puente de las Tablas is a spectacular, 18th-century stone bridge spanning the Mundo River in the village of Puebla de Don Fadrique, Spain. This baroque-style structure has a unique semicircular shape, featuring five semicircular arches that support one another without the aid of a central column. The bridge is flanked by two small towers with lookout posts, providing gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. This alluring span is widely considered to be a remarkable example of historical bridge architecture in the region. Visitors to the bridge will find plenty of opportunities to admire the architectural intricacies, as well as taking in the lush, rolling hills and nearby waterways. There is also a small chapel on the banks of the river, making it the perfect spot for a picnic or leisurely stroll. Whether you're a photographer, a history buff, or simply an admirer of beautiful landscape, Puente de las Tablas is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
