Puente de la Barqueta is a wonderful suspension bridge that links Calatrava and La Cartuja, two districts of Sevilla, Spain. Built in 1992, the bridge is characterised by its suspension design and traditional Spanish construction. It has quickly become a symbol of Sevilla and a must-see for travelers. The bridge offers breath-taking views of the city and the ever-flowing Guadalquivir river that runs underneath it. It stands 140 metres tall and is a popular spot for impromptu photoshoots. From the top you can spot many iconic landmarks of Sevilla such as La Giralda, La Torre del Oro and La Maestranza bullring. Walking along this bridge is a great experience, especially at night when the lights of the city form a stunning backdrop.
