Located in the heart of southern Chile's picturesque landscape, Pucatrihue and El Canillo are villages inside the Corral Bay. Pucatrihue is home to cerulean lakes, lagoons, vast green meadows and rich forests full of birds and other wildlife. The view of the nearby snowcapped mountains rising above the tree line is breath taking. Nearby El Canillo offers another stunning view. It has an imposing natural monument of the huge black rock wall of the Tres Montes, rising over the blue waters of Corral Bay. Near the village is a lookout point that offers an incredible view of the bay. Wildlife lovers will be delighted to visit the Yaldad stream and its surroundings, home to Audouin's sea gulls, burrowing owls, great grebes and Chilean flamingos. Pucatrihue and El Canillo are well worth a visit to admire the beauty of Chilean nature.
