Promenade Meersburg is a spectacular lakeside walk in Germany near the shores of Lake Constance. With stunning views of one of Europe’s clearest and most tranquil lakes, it is a paradise for nature and landscape photographers. The walk stretches for about 2.5 km and takes around 45 minutes. At its center is the beautiful Old Town of Meersburg and the castle from which guards from the Middle Ages had to watch over the lake. Along the promenade there are plenty of photo opportunities with charming historic buildings, green parks and playgrounds, romantic coves and gentle waves lapping against the shore. There are lots of places to take a break and relax, or take part in many of the recreational activities available like kayaking, swimming and boat trips.
