Priyutskiy Pond is a picturesque body of water located in the heart of Pervomayskiye Prudy, Kazakhstan. Situated near the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the pond is surrounded by a large number of beach areas, where you can relax in the sun, take a dip in the water or simply enjoy the views. A hike to the nearby Observer Hill (also known as Kosmos Hill) is a must-do, offering an incredible panoramic view overlooking the serene landscape. The nearby historic architecture of the former Cossacks Resettlement can also be explored. With rare bird species such as the Black Vented Brush Finch, the site is a bird-watchers' paradise. Visitors interested in history may also visit the nearby victory monument commemorating the victory over the 19th century Basmachi Movement.
