Prins Clausbrug Bridge, in Utrecht city, Netherlands, is a historical drawbridge of the 1640s, connecting the two sides of the city. Originally built to provide the old city with access to the new developments across the canal, the bridge is now a popular attraction, especially at night. Its red bricks, old-fashioned design, and constantly growing amount of Christmas lights add a very distinctive charm, creating a romantic atmosphere. Situated in the heart of the city, the bridge attracts many curious visitors and photographers. However, be aware that the bridge opens only during weekdays, therefore it is closed during public holidays.
