📍 United Kingdom
Principal Tower is a 50-storey residential skyscraper at Principal Place, where the City of London’s financial district meets Shoreditch. Designed by Foster + Partners, its slender form is wrapped in glass and bronze-toned vertical fins, giving the façade a shifting texture as the light changes. The tower rises sharply above the brick warehouses and converted industrial buildings of the surrounding streets, making the contrast between old East London and the modern City especially clear. Street-level views from Worship Street and the nearby public spaces emphasize its height, geometric crown and tightly repeated façade lines; the apartments and interior areas are private.
