Pratt Lake
📍 United States
Pratt Lake lies northwest of Snoqualmie Pass in Washington’s Alpine Lakes Wilderness, tucked into a forested basin in the Cascade Range. It feeds the Pratt River, which joins the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River, connecting the lake to the wider Snoqualmie watershed. Evergreen slopes and broad stretches of gray talus frame the water, creating a contrast between dense forest, angular stone and reflections of the surrounding ridges. The Pratt Lake Trail approaches from the Interstate 90 corridor, climbing through forest before descending into the basin—a setting experienced on foot rather than from a roadside viewpoint.
