Praia da Murracao is surrounded by a stunning landscape of rugged cliffs and secluded coastline. This wild beach is a paradise for surfers and beachgoers looking to explore away from the masses. The powdery white sand and turquoise waters provide the perfect backdrop to a well-deserved break. The cliffs provide a natural shade for lounging, and the landscape is ever-changing due to the impact of the ocean, creating interesting geological formations and an amazing display of wildflowers. There are ample opportunities for photography as well as for taking a dip. The beach is not easily accessible and is not serviced by any public transportation. The best way to get here is to drive or take a private car.
