Porto Antico is a lovely historical port located in Gallipoli, Italy. This charming port is a popular destination among tourists due to its unique blend of history, culture and nature. The old fishing harbour has been carefully restored and preserved, now home to restaurants, shops, bars and an exhibition centre. Visitors can take a relaxing stroll along the quayside and admire the fishing boats, or explore the surrounding area which encompasses parks, monuments and monuments to the sea. There's also a redittologusolari, which is a museum located inside the harbour's row of ancient warehouses - here visitors can explore the history of the fishing industry. Don’t miss the 16th-century fort at the entrance of the port, as well as the bell tower standing as a sentinel over the port. On top of that, every July, Porto Antico hosts the annual “Estate Gallipolina” festival, a three-day celebration featuring concerts, stalls and outdoor activities. All in all, Porto Antico is an enjoyable spot for tourists and locals alike.
