Poplar Station is a London Overground station located in Poplar district of Greater London, United Kingdom. It opened in 2008 and is located near the Canary Wharf business district. 15 minutes' walk away, the area offers a number of attractions. Tourists can find plenty to explore here, including the Museum of London Docklands and Docklands Sailing and Watersport Centre. The picturesque Greenwich Foot Tunnel is a must-visit, as well as West India Quay and the beautiful Mudchute Park and Farm. Poplar Station itself offers a wealth of history, and visitors can take a guided tour of the HMS Poplar, a 19th century warship, located nearby.
