Pontile di Lido di Camaiore, also known as Pontile Bellavista Vittoria, is the pedestrian pier extending from the seafront of this Versilia resort between Viareggio and Marina di Pietrasanta. Its long, straight deck carries the eye beyond the rows of beach establishments to a broad platform over the sea, with railings and evenly spaced lamps creating strong symmetry and leading lines. Looking inland, the Apuan Alps rise sharply behind the low coastal town, a distinctive contrast of mountain and beach; facing seaward, the pier opens onto unobstructed sunsets and changing reflections. Walkers and anglers add everyday local life to a structure that has become a recognizable landmark of Lido di Camaiore’s promenade.
