Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II is a majestic stone bridge located in Rome, Italy. It is dedicated to Victor Emanuel II and spans the Tiber River. This bridge was designed by Ennio De Rossi and inaugurated in 1911, replacing a wooden bridge of the same name dating back to 1885. It is one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks and accessible on foot. You can have stunning views of the river and surrounding buildings, like the Castel Sant'Angelo. The bridge also holds a lively atmosphere with street performers, vendors and even those looking to figure out their love destiny throwing coins in the river. It is an amazing photo location, to capture the motion of the city and the beautiful architecture of Rome.
