Ponte Vecchio refers to a Medieval stone closed-spandrel segmental arch bridge located in Firenze, Italy. The bridge first occupied by butchers, the shops are now filled with jewelry, art and souvenir merchants. It has been the symbol of the city of Firenze for centuries, making it one of the most famous bridges in the world. It is also the oldest bridge in the city, having been built in 1345.
