Ponte Tower is a famous skyscraper in Johannesburg, South Africa. The building was completed in 1975, and stands at 223 metres (732 feet), making it the tallest buildings in Johannesburg and the fifth-tallest in South Africa; it is also one of the most recognizable buildings in the city. The tower is part of a larger modernist complex, located on the corner of De Korte and Pixley Ka Isaka Seme Streets. Inside, you can find two luxury hotels, office space, and a shopping mall. Additionally, a number of shops, restaurants, and banks are centered around this area. Ponte Tower is open to the public and can be easily accessed via taxi, bus, or car. If you want to admire the views of the city, or just take a break from shopping, this is a great place to visit.
