Ponte di Carignano is a stone bridge in the beautiful Italian city of Genova. Located in a picturesque spot at the foot of the city's hillside, the bridge was built in 1763, showing typically Baroque and Rococo architectural elements. Stretching across the Polcevera river, the bridge offers spectacular views of the hill, the many multi-colored houses, and the rolling Ligurian hills in the distance. There are two sculptures located at the ends of the bridge, representing Minerva and Hercules. The Ponte di Carignano is an excellent place for photographers to capture typical Genovese scenes.
