📍 From Quai des Orfèvres, France
Pont Neuf is the oldest bridge in Paris, located on the River Seine. Constructed in 1607, it has been described as the "first bridge of modern Paris". The name means "New Bridge" although it is actually the oldest standing bridge in the city. Spanning nearly 500 feet with two levels, it boasts 15 arches, 8 of them touched by the flowing waters. The large statues of Luther, Richelieu, and Henry IV are still protecting the bridge. The bridge is now a pedestrian path and a great spot to view the river and Parisian landmarks, such as La Conciergerie and Notre Dame Cathedral.
