📍 France
Pont de Nadau is a small bridge on the walking approach from Gavarnie village to the Cirque de Gavarnie, in the central French Pyrenees. It crosses the Gave de Gavarnie beneath the cirque’s immense, glacially carved limestone walls. The bridge provides a human-scale foreground against this monumental mountain landscape, while the river’s pale stones, flowing water and surrounding meadows reveal the gentler valley floor below the sharply layered cliffs.
