Pont de Langeais is a stone arch bridge built in the 10th century at Langeais, Indre-et-Loire, France. The bridge crosses the Loire River and is famous for its spectacular views and beauty. It is one of the oldest existing bridges in Europe, built by the Angevin Catholics to help them cross the Loire River in the Middle Ages. It was built by the Monk, Pierre de Chelles, with the help of the King of France at the time, Charles IV, and it took seven years to build. Visitors can enjoy the view of the River Loire from the bridge, as well as the lush green fields surrounding the river. This lovely bridge is an ideal photo spot for travelers who want to capture stunning landscapes and cityscapes with their camera.
