Pont de l'Assut de l'Or is an iconic bridge in València, Spain. Built in 1984 at the behest of Queen Sofia, it spans an impressive 650 metres and is supported by four large pillars. The bridge is constructed from reinforced concrete, with the central arch constructed from steel. It is an impressive sight - especially at night when the lights combine to give the impression of a glowing halo in the sky. Visit this spot to capture the impressive scale of this bridge, as it stands proudly over the River Turia.
