📍 From Quai d'Orsay, France
Pont Alexandre III is an iconic bridge in Paris, stretching from the Champs-Élysées to the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower. It has several elegant (and very photogenic) monuments, topped with golden statues, cherubs and even nymphs. The bridge cross the Seine river and was built in 1900, during the Exposition Universelle. Its iconic four headed lamps and its golden bridge supports are the bridge's hallmarks. It is a very popular place for tourists and locals alike, who enjoy watching the views of the river and taking part in the numerous fairs and activities that are organized there. Cycling, strolling and taking a boat ride along the river Seine are a few of the activities one can do here while taking in the amazing atmosphere.
