The Point Vicente Lighthouse in Rancho Palos Verdes, United States is the oldest active lighthouse in California, built in 1926 and still in use today. Situated at the west end of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, it is a prime site for bird watching, whale-watching, and stunning views of the coast. Visitors can explore the grounds, hike the nearby wildlife trails, and check out the Interpretive Center to learn more about the historic building. The area around Point Vicente is also a great spot for a picnic or a leisurely walk, providing scenic views of the ocean as well as the mountains.
