Plitvice Lakes is a set of 16 lake formations, located in the picturesque area of Poljanak. Its main feature is its series of cascading waterfalls and the beautiful emerald-green colored Lake Prosnjak. Its impressive landscapes make it one of the most mesmerizing tourist destinations in Croatia. The area is a national park, with numerous hikes and trails, boardwalks and viewing points, where visitors can admire the breathtaking views of the surroundings.
