Plaza Santo Domingo, located in Oaxaca de Juárez, Mexico, is an iconic city center and one of the best places to savor the local culture and atmosphere. Unmissable among the landmarks is an immense Baroque church of the same name. The plaza is large and roped off from traffic and is flanked by centuries-old portals. Colorful handicrafts, singing and music border the square, and a bustling market can be found to the west. You can also find kiosks selling home-made artesanal food, as well as cafés with delicious snacks and drinks. In addition, it is possible to stop to admire the flower and toy sellers, street musicians. A great spot to people watch and admire classic architecture. It is well worth a visit!
