The Plaza de España is an iconic and must-visit sight in Sevilla, Spain. Located in the Parque de María Luisa, the Plaza was built in the 1920s for the 1929 Ibero-American exposition. It is a semi-circular shape with it’s horseshoe shape hemmed water feature, symbolizing the Guadalquivir river at the center. This colorful and beautiful structure boasts a ceramic tiled alcoves, each one dedicated to a different Spanish province and has a number of spectacular bridges crossing its moat. The surrounding palm trees and tranquil fountains adds to its charm and appeal. This allows you to capture some wonderful photos and is an exciting destination for all visitors to Sevilla.
