Playa Conejos curves around Bahía Conejos, the easternmost of Huatulco’s nine bays, just east of Tangolunda on Oaxaca’s Pacific coast. Golden sand, rocky headlands and wooded slopes give the beach its defining contrasts, with resort development set against the surrounding coastal landscape. From the shoreline, the rocks at either end frame views across the blue water and emphasize the bay’s shape. The tropical dry forest adds a seasonal change in texture and color: dense green foliage during the rains gives way to a more open canopy and earthy tones in the dry season.
