Platja de la Ribera is a lively and beautiful beach in Sitges – a coastal town just 34km from Barcelona. The beige and white sand, backed by soft rolling hills, and fronted by a stunning harbour, combine to make it a stunning place to spend a day. The sheltered beach is wide and sandy, with plenty of areas for sunbathing, and plenty of space for the inevitable beach sports going on. Popular with both local and international visitors, it's a peaceful spot to enjoy a lazy beach day (with plenty of restaurants, bars, and cafes along the beach front). The L'Escalet area of the beach features a series of rocky coastal inlets, which provide stunning views out over the Mediterranean Sea, as well as a fantastic area to explore.
