Located in the northwest of France in the town of Pornic, Plage de l'Étang offers stunning views of the coastline. The beach stretches 1.2 kilometers long and is covered in soft sand and colorful pebbles. It is one of the most popular beaches of the region, surrounded by cliffs with lush vegetation and an extensive coastal path. Due to its unique shape, derived from pebbles, the beach is characterized by secluded corners and offers its visitors moments of silence and relaxation. One of the attractions of its impressive seaside scenery is the watchtower dating back to the 18th century. The beach also provides plenty of activities for family members, from jet-skiing and kite-surfing to canoeing and swimming. Other services available are restaurants, lifeguards and children’s playgrounds. It’s easy to reach the beach by both car and train.
