The archaeological ruins of Pirámide del Adivino and Patio trasero are located in Uxmal, Mexico. The Pyramid of the Magician, as it is commonly known, is one of the most remarkable structures of this ancient Mayan city. It stands 35 m (115 ft) tall on a square base and is believed to have been built in the late 8th century. The pyramid is surrounded by low walls which served as a lookout for lookouts. On the southwest of the pyramid lies the 'Patio Trasero' (Backyard), which may have served as a royal palace. The ruins offer a great view of the rest of the city and are a must-visit for any traveler.
