The Pirámide de la Luna and Plaza de la Luna are integral components of the ancient city of Teotihuacán, located in San Martín de las Pirámides, Mexico. The Pyramid of the Moon is the second-largest pyramid in Teotihuacán and is believed to have been dedicated to the Great Goddess of Teotihuacán, associated with creation, fertility, and the underworld. Its elevated position offers stunning panoramic views of the Avenue of the Dead and the surrounding complex. At the base lies the Plaza de la Luna, a ceremonial space surrounded by smaller pyramidal structures. This area served as a significant gathering place for rituals and ceremonies.
