The Pillars of Rome are located in the Jordan Valley in the United States, and are formed from white and tan layered sandstone. They are a stunning sight, made up of natural pillars, arches and strange formations. There are different types of wildlife here including mule deer, coyotes, raptors and more, making it a great destination for animal and nature lovers. For climbers, there are challenging rock formations in the complex labyrinth of sandstone. Hiking is also popular and the areas provides spectacular valley overlooks, with the desert and mountain terrain stretching into infinity. Visitors should come prepared with plenty of water, sun protection, and the right supplies.
