The Pièce d'Eau des Suisses is an ornamental pool located in the grounds of the palace of Versailles, France. Surrounding the pool's five sides are 32 figures representing the Swiss Guards of King Louis XIV of France. The pool was designed in 1683 and has been kept in its original form since then. It is a stunning sight, surrounded by towering trees and is a popular attraction for visitors to the Palace of Versailles. Visitors can enjoy the aquatic display, bask in the sun, or simply admire the beautifully designed surrounding gardens, as well as admiring the graceful sculptures around the pool.
