Piazza Vincenzo Gioberti is one of the main squares in Reggio Emilia, Italy. This historic square is known for its beautiful palazzo, which was built in 1595 and was once used by the Catholic Church. The square is also surrounded by other historic buildings, most notably the Palazzo dei Principi, which was built in the 17th century by architect Francesco Galli da Bibbiena. On the west side of the piazza stands the Cathedral of Santa Croce and its adjacent baptistery. The piazza also features a large fountain originally designed in 1702, as well as an obelisk honoring the poet Carlo Porta. Visitors can stroll through the piazza and take in its beautiful architecture and its historical significance.
