Piazza San Marco

Piazza San Marco, or the St. Mark's Square, is one of the most famous attractions of Venice, Italy. Located in the San Marco sestiere of the Venetian lagoon, it's an iconic meeting point of the iconic gondolas and serenading musicians. It's bordered by grand amusement centers such as the Doge's Palace, the medieval Clock Tower, St. Mark's Basilica and the Grand Canal. Besides its historical importance, the Piazza brings together the perfect highlights of Venetian architecture, surrounded by a multitude of cafes, shops and restaurants.
