Piazza Municipio, known in German as Rathausplatz, is Brunico’s civic square beside the historic center of this bilingual South Tyrolean town. Its broad paved space and municipal buildings contrast with the narrow lanes, arcaded façades, and medieval gateways nearby, while the surrounding Puster Valley mountains remain visible above the urban skyline. The square is especially recognizable during public gatherings and the annual Advent market, when wooden stalls and seasonal decorations animate the open plaza.
