Piazza Giacomo Leopardi is a grand public square situated in Recanti, in the region of Le Marche, Italy. It is named after the town's most famous son, the great poet Giacomo Leopardi. The piazza comes alive during summer, with locals and tourists sitting around the square watching shows or simply enjoying the atmosphere at the nearby cafes. A fenced park lined with trees and colorful flowers provides an oasis of nature amid the city. Stately buildings surround the square with their centuries-old walls, while the majestic dome of the Chiesa di San Agostino stands tall in the background. Here visitors can enjoy a beautiful walk in the park and admire the views. The town's other attractions, like the Pinacoteca Comunale (City Hall Gallery), the former Jesuit College, the Biblioteca Leopardiana, the Principe di Miami palace and many others, can easily be accessed from here.
