Piazza Galimberti is a main square located in the historic center of Cuneo, a city in the Italian region of Piedmont. It is one of the most beautiful historic squares in the region, surrounded by Baroque palaces, medieval towers and beautiful churches. One of the main highlights of Piazza Galimberti is the majestic 15th century Torre Civica, which overlooks the square. Nearby, the Palazzo Galimberti and the Collegiate Church of San Massimo also attract 13th century architectural admirers. There is a beautiful public park called Parco Archimede that offers a great escape for urban wanderings and numerous cafes and restaurants around the piazza serving traditional Piedmont dishes. Don't forget to check out the wooden Arcades, originally built in the 15th century but renovated in the 19th century for a charming touch. Piazza Galimberti is a must-see stop for anyone visiting Cuneo.
