Piazza Gae Aulenti is a public square in Milan, Italy. It is a modern, innovative urban space designed by architect Gae Aulenti and located in the Porta Nuova district. The piazza features a deconstructed ellipse of three progressively taller buildings that circle around a smaller one. The piazza is flanked by two curved benches and the square is surrounded by trees and plants that bloom in a variety of vibrant colours. It's the perfect spot to sit and relax with friends and admire exceptional views of the modern cityscape, which includes nearby skyscrapers including Pirelli Tower, Unicredit Tower and Bosco Verticale. The piazza also features an exhibition by numerous Italian artist and is a popular spot for art and culture festivals.
